At its best about Tudor Gheorghe

Was born on August 1, 1945 into a peasant family in the village Podari, near Craiova. He grew up in difficult conditions, his father being political prisoner. Young Tudor Gheorghe Nicolae Balcescu went to High School (now Carol) of Craiova, and then the Theatre Institute in Bucharest. He graduated in acting in 1966, then became an actor on the National Theatre of Craiova.

After three years of assiduous study, Tudor Gheorghe came to the ramp with a show called - "minstrels in the courts of Longing". The show was a great success. After another two-year study launched a new recital - "Seven ballads". This artist has become a bard of the nation.

During the communist period, Tudor Gheorghe and faced many obstacles, from the communist regime that he is forbidden to concert a decade, until the revolution of '89. The artist shows have been censored, and in 1979, was banned after a concert premiere "In a frank poet". After the Revolution, Tudor Gheorghe returned in force and delight our ears even today.

I was impressed on me a few pieces from the repertoire of the great artist. I want to remember: "Salcamii", "It's a wolf in the forest", "Longing traveler" or "Dona Clara." I loved the album "Party with Taraf", where Tudor Gheorghe plays brilliantly. If you listened to this album, you might remember the stories of Marin Sorescu, recited by Tudor Gheorghe. When you listen, I find myself back in time, my grandparents house. Beautiful ...
