Voice ancestors: Alexander Earring
I've heard of Alexander Earring, but never listened to any song. This is probably due to lack of promotion of Romanian labels. The story of this great fiddler was revived by the National Journal in ediat from the Music Collection.
Earring Alexander comes from a family tradition of musicians. He learned music from his father who played at weddings. Earring Alexander began studying small violin, and later went with his father sing to the guests tables. He recorded nearly 150 songs, of which the most known are: "Summer, summer, spring," "Lie, lie, lark" and "rent Chiralina". These were recorded in 1957, when Alexander was 74 years Earring.

Music Collection album contains 17 songs sung in collaboration with Ion Alexandru Earring Earring (son), Ion and Ion Nitoi Stephanie. Alexander's music Earring enroll in nineteenth century music. It is slightly different from that played by fiddlers '70s, but is as melodic and interesting. Good to hear!
